At phos, we know many people are volunteering to deliver shopping to their local community as a result of the Covid-19 crisis.
To make it easier for people to support their community, we’ve launched a scheme which will offer free payment acceptance to volunteers who deliver food and essential supplies to elderly residents.
Phos is the first application that lets you receive contactless card payments directly on your Android phone or tablet.
What we offer:
We’re working with our partners to maximise the capacity of this scheme, however due to the rise in demand, we can’t guarantee that everyone who applies will be accepted.
The payment acceptance will be free for a minimum of three months, after which we will work to extend the scheme, or minimise fees. There will be no obligation for you to continue using phos beyond this.

We also want to support merchants who are repurposing their business model to focus on delivery as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
So, while merchants who are delivering to elderly residents will be prioritised if this scheme is over-subscribed, all traders who are repurposing their business model to delivery are also welcome to apply for the scheme.
